In my own life, I have been the patient, the caregiver, the researcher, the policymaker, and the physician. My passion is to make the healthcare system work for every person and alleviate suffering around cancer.

When I meet you, you will have been diagnosed with a serious illness or ‘The Big C.’ In that moment, my work is to make a connection and help you understand how the situation of cancer can be managed. My team and I will walk you through the surgical and therapeutic parts of your healing journey, and facilitate additional support to bring back your sense of well-being. You will not face this challenge alone.

Chief Residents

Chief Residents are Medical Doctors specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology in their final months of training. As part of your care team, the chief resident may ask questions, perform exams and office procedures, evaluate your test results, counsel you on treatment options and assist Dr. Wu in performing surgery.

Our medical assistants work together to facilitate your care. They do everything from making appointments, obtaining in- surance authorizations, providing translation, assisting in office procedure, and providing basic results and instructions from the providers, to scheduling tests, surgeries, and referrals.

Medical Oncologist – specializes in treating cancer using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy

Radiation Oncologist – specializes in using radiation to treat cancer

Palliative Care Physician – specializes in improving the quality of life of cancer patients, by preventing or treating as early as possible disease symptoms, treatment side effects, and psychological, social, and spiritual problems related to the condition.

Medical Geneticist – counsels individuals and families at risk for certain genetic disorders or cancers

Pathologist – identifies diseases by studying cells and tissues under a microscope

Social Worker – talks with patients and caregivers about emotional or physical needs, and finds support services

Dietitian – helps with food choices and nutritional needs for complex diseases

Physical Therapist – evaluates and treats people who have conditions or injuries that limit their ability to move and do physical activities.

Cancer Registrar – specializes in capturing de-identified data on cancer patients to allow researchers, healthcare providers, and public health officials to better monitor and advance treatments, conduct research, and improve prevention and screening programs.
