What we do
Gynecologic oncology is a subspecialty devoted to caring for people with pre-cancers and cancers of the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vulva, and vagina, as well as pregnancy-related tumors.
While gynecologic oncologists focus on cancer, we also apply our expertise in radical surgery as consultants for medically complex gynecologic or obstetric situations.
Additionally, we engage in research and education, participating in broader societal efforts to eradicate cancer, once and for all.
“Physicians in this discipline complete 4 years of training in obstetrics and gynecology, and then receive 3-4 years of instruction in cancer surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and palliative care.”
Who we serve
In short, everyone.
We welcome all gynecologic patients, regardless of race, color, national origin, languages spoken, gender identity or expression, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and insurance status.
Located in Central Los Angeles, we primarily serve local communities. However, we accept referrals from providers and individuals throughout the region.
